Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has directed raising the level of preparedness at university hospitals nationwide during the Easter and Sham El-Nessim holidays. This comes within the framework of the state’s commitment to ensuring the readiness of the healthcare system and providing the best possible medical services to citizens.
The Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining round-the-clock operations in emergency and reception departments, while ensuring the full readiness of medical teams, including doctors, nursing staff, and technicians. This will contribute to the swift handling of emergency cases. He also stressed the ضرورة التأكد من جاهزية الأجهزة الطبية وأقسام العناية المركزة، إلى جانب تفعيل غرف الأزمات والطوارئ بالمستشفيات الجامعية لمتابعة الموقف.
He further highlighted the importance of monitoring the implementation of emergency plans, with full coordination with the Ministry of Health and Population to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality medical services to citizens and the prompt response to any emergencies that may arise during this period.
