As part of the Armed Forces' commitment to promoting the exchange of research expertise and advanced technologies with national scientific institutions in support of Egypt's strategic objectives, the Egyptian Military Academy signed a cooperation protocol with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT).
The protocol was signed by Major General Mohamed Salah El-Turky, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, and Prof. Mamdouh Moawad Aly, Acting President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, in the presence of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The protocol aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions across a wide range of scientific and research fields to support national innovation and promote small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It also provides for collaboration in establishing a National Center for 3D Printing to serve various state institutions, as well as joint participation in scientific conferences, workshops, and seminars related to scientific research.
In addition, the protocol includes the implementation of technology transfer and exchange programs to facilitate the adoption of advanced technologies and contribute to the development of scientific research equipment and technologies, thereby enhancing Egypt's research and innovation capabilities.
The signing ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials from the Egyptian Military Academy and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
