Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited St. Mark’s Church in Alexandria to extend his congratulations to Coptic Christians on the occasion of Easter, in an atmosphere marked by warmth and mutual goodwill.
He was received by His Grace Bishop Pavly, General Bishop of Montaza Sector in Alexandria; His Grace Bishop Hermina, Bishop of East Alexandria; His Grace Bishop Mina, General Bishop of Borg El Arab and Amreya; and Father Abram Emil, Papal Vicar in Alexandria.
Dr. Konsowa expressed his sincere wishes that this blessed occasion brings goodness, love, and peace to our beloved Egypt and all its people, and that God continues to bless the nation with security, stability, and progress.
The Minister noted that such religious and national occasions reflect the spirit of unity and cohesion that characterizes the fabric of the Egyptian people, highlighting the deep bonds of love and fraternity among all citizens under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who consistently promotes the values of citizenship, tolerance, and coexistence.
Dr. Konsowa added that Egypt will always remain a unique model of national solidarity, where its people unite as one on all occasions, reflecting the strength of the Egyptian state and the cohesion of its society. He emphasized that such occasions promote the values of love and peace—universal and national principles that all strive to uphold within society.
