RESEARCH

In terms of research my main interests lie in the area of behavioural anomalies and banking which led me to undertake a PhD in Finance at Heriot Watt University. I have been awarded my PhD degree in December 2019. My PhD research has produced a set of good quality data which has been drafted into three papers, the first of which has been published in the Investment Management and Financial Innovations Journal. The second paper which focuses on 'Maze Runners: Stock Market Sentiment and Bank Deposits in the UK', is currently under review in the Journal of Financial Services Research (ABS 3-rated). The third paper on 'Herding Behaviour and Lending Strategies: Evidence from the UK Commercial Banks', has been submitted to the International Journal of Finance & Economics (ABS 3-rated) and got a "revise and re-submit" decision.  In addition to these papers I am currently working on two other projects that will be submitted to high ranking ABS journals by the end of 2019. With respect to research, I am a committed researcher and actively engaged in research activities.
